Timms Ave, Renovation / Extension

Little house on Timms was shifted over from Holland and assembled in kit form back in the early 50's. Was a very run down untouched home, in need of much love. We started on this project at the end of 2012 and originally being a compact home, has now light and bright spaces. The house had no appeal to the façade features and the best place to extend was from the front out.
So, now the place has great street appeal. We get many people walking by passing comments about how they love the new fresh look that still reflects is original architecture. The Portico reflects a Queensland style of house, which i felt suited the design features.
Project Year: 2013
Project Cost: $75,001 AUD - $100,000 AUD
Country: Australia
