Ulladulla Contemporary Renovation

From dark, cramped and poorly planned to light, open and easy to use. This Kitchen has completely changed without any increase in floor space, minimal re-wiring and plumbing alterations.
Main changes were the partial removal of a wall, removal of a door to hallway and the zoning of preparation and serving areas.

Handless doors and draws make this kitchen super smooth and clean looking. Sharknose grooves at the tops of doors and draws make opening the doors easy without intrusive handles. Since this room only measures 2.4m x 3.95m utilizing every cm of space is essential.

Before the renovation the Kitchen was enclosed with a small servery window close to the back door.

Before: Extra long draining board, and elevated range/stove left little preparation area.

Before: The return cupboard at the sink area was awkward to access, and the large cupboard doors opened into the work/walkway spaces. As the room is only 2.4m wide this made movement in the kitchen difficult.

Before: The servery area was dominated by the addition of a microwave leaving little space to work. cupboards over this space made working in the area even less comfortable.The microwave was relocated above the new wall oven.

Before: Because the hallway linen press was an essential to keep the hall door could not be moved. The door itself was not essential so by closing off the hall doorway, space was made for a walk in pantry and extra cupboards including an oven tower with microwave and pot draws.
