This project is a two-storey, classic coastal cottage recreated over the existing footprint. It consists of four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a study, an open kitchen/living room as well as front and rear deck areas. The home has a mixture of reclaimed doors, windows and other materials used to create a relaxed, ‘lived in’ feel. One of the bedrooms features a wall of exposed, reclaimed timber. Upstairs is a two-bedroom en-suite retreat with a roof top balcony.

There was a flexible partnership with considerable input from the client. This allowed for the project to be the successful result of a fluid and creative process.
