Originally built circa 1904 and left for dead, a full renovation has brought this beautiful traditional Queenslander back to life. Located in the bay side suburb of Manly had been substantially renovated throughout. Virtually the entire side of the house facing the water is made up of bi-fold door and stackers.The photos shows the clever use of the cantilevered bi-fold and stacker doors which provide an effortless transition between internal and external spaces helping bring the wrap-around veranda into the usable space of the house.

Cantilevered Bi-fold & Stacker Cedar Doors
The photo shows the front facade of the renovated building. The building itself was raised\relocated on the block and re-stumped to full legal height allowed for the underside to be used for a garage and storage space. The wrap-around balustrading was re-done with dowel timber-hardwood and stained.

The rear yard done simply with a planter box to terrace\soften the retaining wall. And the underside to the house a 3d effect timber feature to provide depth and interest.
