This project was an interior decoration and styling job. the couple and their 3 yr old daughter had allowed the chaos of life to take over their small apartment. Minett studio was charged with transforming the space into an adult retreat with allowance for additional storage and a magical bedroom for the little girl as she had outgrown her cot. Minett Studio designed an 'into the woods' theme for the girl's bedroom complete with cubby house bed and fairy lights. A tranquil and calm sanctuary to end each day and read a book or two. The Lounge Dining and kitchen are open plan. We selected furniture that could accommodate entertaining with an extension table and bar stools, whilst working with the existing dining chairs. The Lounge had new artwork, sumptuous rug and a feature armchair in turquoise velvet. Along the entire length from the Kitchen to the windows, a custom-made credenza was commisioned with included deep drawers for extra storage and a LED strip light at kicker height. The credenza also doubled up as a seating bench during entertaining as it was built with strength. Additional storage was added in the study nook which was transformed into an open cloak cupboard. New shelves in the Laundry and child's closet. Overall an amazing transformation and very happy clients.
