Photos care of the Client. The original style of the home was 1990's and did not provide enough storage for our clients. The space was dated and was inefficient as a large portion of the room was not being utilised. Minett Studio listened to the brief and the fact that the clients had a lot of appliances that were stored throughout their home instead of the Kitchen as there was not enough storage. We reconfigured the room to include a walk in large butlers pantry with appliance cupboards. A new central island bench where they could entertain and a new skylight to brighten the space. The Dining area was centralised and has a better relationship with the Kitchen area. The brief was for a classic style of Kitchen with a contemporary feel. This was achieved with subtle details such as panel doors in 2pac paint and hand turned island bench legs. The palette was kept neutral, simple and clean to allow for the flexibility to use pops of colour by the clients. The renovation included Kitchen, New Pantry, Laundry and Bathroom Vanities.
