Aitch House

These clients loved their home – it embodied a lifetime of their family’s history, however, they knew it was dated. They wanted to get organised and get stylish. They wanted their home to support their adjusted lifestyles and their natural tendencies: to cook, gather and eat. Now their children had flown the nest, they wanted to keep the doors open for family gatherings and entertaining friends, and desired their renovated home to support this notion. They wanted their home to be organised, neat and tidy, and fully functional for large get-togethers.
NORTHBOURNE gathered these critical elements to inform the redesign of this family home. These empty nesters didn’t need more space, they needed functional space. And that’s what we delivered. We maintained existing bedrooms for visitors and redesigned the living, kitchen, dining layouts, as well as bathrooms and landscapes.
Although the clients didn’t initially request our assistance with the furniture selections, once construction was complete, they realised they also required help selecting suitable and comfortable furniture to suit their new spaces. We happily obliged!
The clients could not be happier with the outcome.
