With an immovable deadline, this commission was accepted with an extremely tight timeframe for design and documentation.
K+AR put just about everything else on hold to complete Schematic Design in a week, Detailed Design in 3 weeks and Building Permit Documentation in 4 weeks. This is not something that should be repeated, but the Whites, expecting their first baby later in the year needed an exceptional timeframe from both architect and builder.
Work commenced on site mid-July with a 20-week construction period.
