The owners of this small 3 bedroom home needed more living space and a parents retreat. The dining and living areas along with the separate toilet and bathroom were quite small and some creative use of space was required.
The garage under the main roof was enclosed and the wall separating it from the living room was removed, increasing living room space by 20 square metres.
The wall between the toilet and main bathroom was removed so that all amenities were located in the same room, creating a bathroom space that is now quite large and spacious.
The small, impractical laundry that backed onto the dining room was removed which gave the owners added room.
Onto the back of the home we built a 40 square metre extension that now houses the master bedroom, en suite and functional laundry space.
