Carrum Apartment
A sanctuary by the sea: Caren’s apartment transformation
When Caren purchased her 1960s beachside apartment after the end of a long-term relationship, it was dated, impractical and lacking storage. With a demanding role at the head of her family business, she felt overwhelmed at the thought of tackling it alone.
That’s where my team and I stepped in. Working with my colleague Noni Edmunds, we reimagined the space with a fresh, cohesive palette, custom furniture, window furnishings and every finishing touch. My husband Andrew’s meticulous carpentry and trade coordination ensured the renovation ran seamlessly while Caren lived off-site.
The result is a light-filled sanctuary that reflects Caren’s personality and celebrates her exciting new chapter, a testament to the transformative power of thoughtful, collaborative design.
