Lee and David moved form a larger rural property to this smaller home. They aimed to make it their forever home but where unsure how far to take the updates without overcapitalising.
Overwhelmed by choices, they sought a designer who could guide them collaboratively at a comfortable pace, choosing to do some of the research themselves, which I was happy to incorporate thin my design service.

A key challenge was integrating a freestanding fireplace, built in TV unit and desk into a cohesive storage solution. Without a clear vision, they feared ending up with something that wouldn't work.

Through this collaboration, I designed a 7m long built in unit for their living room, incorporating storage, a fireplace, an entertainment unit, bookcase, desk and a bench seat. This streamlined their space and enhanced functionality. Our mutual love of green inspired a colour scheme that brought the outdoors in, creating a harmonious connection between their home and its surroundings.

They soon trusted my design approach and felt confident in the direction we were taking.
