Gabion fence with merbau inserts.

The clients wanted a fence that would stand out from the surrounding properties but also tie in with their house. The house is clad with granite walling rock with blue and red tones, therefore the clients wanted a fence to match those tones.

The resulting fence is a gabion fence with a mix of reddish/brown and blue granite rubble from our local quarry. Between baskets are Merbau inserts to break up the gabion baskets and also highlight the red tones of the overall fence.
