The former dining room was converted to a libray/home office with chuncky timber shelving, desk and computer station. A custom designed ladder on wheels provides access to the upper book shelves. Mood lighting is provided including a chandelier in a raised coffered ceiling.

The orginal fireplace was plastered in and is now the new bed head, with recessed wall niches housing bed side tables and lamps. The wall to the balcony was demolished to create a new parents retreat with built in storage, window seat and fireplace.

A new pool was acompanied with new garden walls that were rendered to match the colour of the house. Plants were added to soften the harsh rectilinear shapes . An adjacent area was tiled to provide a sun bathing retreat.
