I was asked to help refurbish a 2 bedroom apartment in an art deco building. The project entailed sourcing and installation of furniture for the entry, dining and living areas. The apartment had minimal storage so it was a requirement that all pieces be functional, fit and suit the style of the home as well as provide adequate storage. An entrance shelf ladder and wall hooks were installed in the entry for practicality as well as aesthetic, a coffee table that opens up with internal storage and a console and tall antique Chinese cabinet that acted as more cupboard space were selected for the rooms. Display shelves were also included for housing the clients books, trinkets and love of greenery. I also had her colourful art posters framed that were collected from a trip to South America, which inspired the pops of colour throughout her home. A very unique small space that was full of colour and my client's personality.
