Mudjimba Esplanade is a modern, two storey, beach side residence. Designed to "close-up" for all weathers.
The seaward side alfresco terrace has two opening wall sections that open up on gas struts affording a controlled beachside aspect when vacating the residence or in bad weather.
The owners wanted to reverse the normal living areas in that the main living is on the upper level to take advantage of the natural sea breeze and views.
The block is only 10m wide, with a total 307.6 m2. We have however created some 273sqm of residence.
The home has a modern beach side feel with good natural airflow.
We have used vertical battens to the East and Northern Exterior walls to screen the sun and provide a nice privacy barrier from the adjoining neighbours.
