Townhouse Living on a Narrow Block
A very comfortable and functional 3 bedroom + office home has been created on this 8.0m wide block.
Creative use of natural light has been the focal point in the design process.
With wall to wall zero boundary regulations we were faced with providing sufficient natural light to the lower level. This was achieved by designing a large void to the eastern boundary, affording good natural light to penetrate the adjoining rooms... office, kitchen and living.
This also provided a nice sheltered central courtyard, which can be used for alfresco dining or simply a private place to relax with a book.
The total floor area is 266.62m2 on a 224m2 block.
