Old meets new in this charming bathroom renovation located in one of New Farm's historic apartment buildings. While wanting a sleek and modern feel, the client also wanted to pay homage to the building's heritage and a nod to the art deco era was achieved in the use of patterned traditional-style floor tiling, simple sleek tapware and understated subway tiling for the walls.

Clever touches such as replacing the traditional door with a sliding barn-style door, incorporating a nook for the combined washer and dryer and incorporating a ledge and towel rail into one side of the shower have ensured that the relatively small space is maximised.
