New Two Storey Residence (Front Unit 44A): Yokine
This is the Front Unit of a 2 Lot Battle-Axe Sub-Division in Yokine and part of a Three-Unit Development.
Construction complete for this alternative construction and energy efficient Build and, due to the in-depth experience with the Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), the Client and Design2Solution collaborated with Builder, Bellissimo Homes.
Through effective design to ensure most appropriate Site orientation for Winter Solar Gain and Summer Shading, the energy efficiency of this New Residence achieved a 7.4 Star Rating - well above the 6 Star mandatory for new homes at the time and before 7 Star May 2025. In conjunction with effective design, this sound result can be attributed to Bellissimo Homes EcoSIPs™ method of construction, with Canon uPVC double glazing as standard and a super-insulated roof-space. In terms of performance, this allows the home a better starting point, as the EcoSIPs™ construction method provides improved building sealing, so when mechanical heating and cooling are introduced, increased thermal performance reduces running costs throughout the year. Future install of solar panels on the North-facing Skillion Roof will further reduce outgoings.
