Owner-builder Rural home at Clarendon, S,A,
This is a build in progress. The Owner builder of this Rural property is doing whatever he can to reduce costs.... which involves him not only acting as Builder and Project manager, but as laborer for all the trades. Being on site every day has meant that a really good quality control has been achieved as well as tight budget control. Drawings and a 3d model were prepared specifically to suit the self-build nature of the project. The 3d model has been very helpful as it helps the Owner visualise the final product showing how the elements connect together. This project should be finished in 2019 and costs are currently on budget for an estimated completion price of less than $1000 a sq. meter.
