Paddington
We loved being part of this project which saw a ramshackle terrace transformed into a stunning four level, three bedroom house.
“It was the most rundown terrace in the street and it was barely livable,’ says architect Georgina Wilson. “The attic had no windows and the roof was leaking and the old slate was falling in. It was very dilapidated.”
The layout of the existing building allowed for some unique results. This included the basement level being into converted into a second living area, a study and a family-sized laundry (a rarity in Sydney-terrace housing). The attic became a bedroom with ensuite and the living room was extended along with a deck and double parking at the rear of the house.
