Part of the renovation saw a change in the orientation of the kitchen to face out towards the backyard. This, along with the build of full width gradual steps up to the backyard increased attention and focus to the imposing and dull industrial style garage door. Not the ideal view having spent a considerable amount of money on the inside of the house! But as you can see with the installation of Rolling View featuring a luscious green Japanese garden the view and feeling of space has changed almost beyond recognition. This backyard is a joy to look out on and does not impair the use of the garage door.
