Still under construction, this family of six residence of an Australian owner-builder was inspired during their holiday visit to the Jodha Bai palace in Fatehpur Sikri. Indian red sandstone construction, carved in India and shipped to Australia, it is now in the final stages of completion. With 5 bedrooms, all with ensuite, an entertainment room and theatre, and a two bedroom guest wing, this has been my most interesting, demanding and rewarding project with unusual challenging building methods such as stone mortise and tenon construction. I can't wait for it to be finished!
