Palmolive Penthouse

This full Floor unit in the famed art deco Palmolive Building in Chicago was inspired by the glamour of Art Deco 1930’s Chicago…and a little Chanel from the homeowner’s wardrobe.

Hand painted wallpapers, glossy patterned floors and double doors lead from the elevator gallery in this posh penthouse.

A vintage brass and lucite mirror dominates this elevator gallery. Two silver leaf faux bamboo benches, handprinted wallpaper, and ornate light fixtures, not to mention a stunning lake view all come together to make a memorable first impression.

This bathroom was the perfect spot to take a chance with a dark wall color, and what could be better than black. A light marble counter keeps the black from getting overwhelming and an ornate mirror pops on the dark canvas.
