Paradou - Pullenvale Brisbane

Set on 10 acres of land I designed this house after returning from a holiday in France.
It allowed the children to live comfortably with their bikes and animals whilst still providing a grand entertaining home for a family . The drystone walls were built by a clever local landscaper that understood my vision

The rear of the house faced north and had many landscaped terraces leading down towards the horse paddock and creek.

Rendered walls and large timber beams and strength to this house. The covered walkways lead to the entertaining loggia off the lounge room. I have left the underside of the tiled roof exposed to show the beautiful colours.

I found this old bell tower that I reinstated into the walkway. It was the best way to call the family in for a meal

A large room which encourages you to linger eat and talk. The fire was wonderful to add even more atmosphere in winter
