Addition of 2nd storey extension to a heritage weatherboard house. Cleaver use of a small alleyway to the side of the house allowed for a new staircase without encroaching on the existing ground floor area. Vaulted ceilings in the master bedroom added to the sense of space whilst working within the strict council height limits for the extension. The space under the stairs was maximised through the installation of a euro style laundry.
