This residence is sited on a small allotment - 10 metres wide x 40 metres in length. Whilst building code allows reduction in side boundary setbacks, the clients brief to provide roof eave overhangs provided challenges for practical room layouts.
The floor plan layout employed an angled hallway to accentuate circulation movements & allow generous spaces to adjoining living spaces. The dynamic hallway draws the eye to the rear outdoor living & recreation zones.
Natural materials & colour selections were used to ensure the home respectfully nestles comfortably within its natural & tranquil setting.
