Taylor'd DISTINCTION

We worked with Pete, Jaegan and the Taylor'd Distinction Team on the design of our new home, and the experience was outstanding, they took the time to understand what we wanted in our home and the look and feel that we were after. The final design perfectly balances functionality, comfort, sustainability and light. We're absolutely delighted with the result and would recommend the Taylor'd Distinction Team to anyone looking to create a home that's both inspiring and considered.

We had bought an acreage block of land and had found our builder who recommended we contact Peter Taylor at Taylor’d Distinction to assist us with designing our dream home. Peter came to our home some 2 hours drive and met with us to discuss our needs and expectations. He listened and got to know us at our first appointment before meeting us a second time at our land which was in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. We again discussed our wishes along with the slope and outlook, views, aspects etc of our land. We also discussed our needs as we grow older and wish to stay in our home if our needs were to change etc. Peter listened and understood the brief. We met at his office in little mountain many times as we progressed to the final stages of our design. Communication was superb throughout the process and nothing was too much trouble to change or alter. All aspects of the design were thoroughly thought out and they delivered the design of our beautiful home. Pete’s offsider Jaegan is a master designer and gave us some very valued input too and he is very talented on the tools! I wish the council and all of the red tape was as easy as Pete and his team! Now we await our build which starts next month. Thank you Pete and the team for being wonderful to deal with. Dealing with Peter, Jaegen and the team at Taylor'D design was one of the best decisons we made during the build process. The team were engaging, approachable, and very professional. The consultative way they work opened our eyes to totally new concepts that we hadnt considered, giving us a far better design, and layout than we thought we could ever achieve. The team also has terrific contacts in the industry meaning we could reach out to top interior designers, and builders who would best suit what we needed to create our dream home. Pete and the team did an excellent job of designing just the right proportions to give the new outdoor area a spacious presence which compliments the existing house wonderfully. Pete and his team were a pleasure to work with. Warm, professional, and efficient. This was our first time building our own home and we were quite nervous about getting it wrong. But from the first conversation with Pete, we knew we had the right designer on board. From sitting down and outlining the initial brief to final design, Pete was engaged and invested in designing the right home for our family and we were surprised how quickly the designed evolved. Nothing was too much trouble and was always happy to discuss changes along the way. We are thrilled with the final design. I feel so fortunate to have found Pete and the team at Taylor'd Distinction. Pete and the Team, were a pleasure to work with when designing our new home. Pete came to our own home and sat down with us for our design brief, the initial floor plan included everything we wanted from our brief and any changes were no problem at all. My wife and I were inexperienced in the process and Pete’s experience guided us through the whole journey, always keeping lines of communication open and helping us with any questions we had. Pete and the team have designed us a beautiful, functional and contemporary home and we couldn’t be happier.
