An extensive renovation to an existing terrace house in a heritage area.
The renovation included rationalising the existing layout and the introduction of a lightwell courtyard to bring day-light deep into the terrace. This courtyard can be enjoyed from all spaces and works to ventilate the house. A sculptural timber stair further washes light into the living areas.
