Nested on the shoreline in Currumbin, the Terrace balances coastal living with a mid-century modern design. With timber joinery, light timber floors and refreshing accents of pink and aqua, the Terrace feels like home. Entering the apartment, we are met with an open plan living, featuring mid-century modern furniture with a feature ceiling that reflects the ripples in the sand. The kitchen has been re-designed in a manner to increase usability, visual aesthetics and open-up to the living spaces. The use of timber paneling will be drawn from throughout the apartment, from storage features to bathroom ledges and kitchen cabinetry. The ensuite and robe have been reconfigured and revitalised in the same style, continuing the theme of coastal, mid-century modern while increasing functionality.

This project was undertaken as a building design and interior design project. We worked with highly respected commercial shop fitters to construct the project.
