This Toorak residence underwent a full home renovation and rear extension to improve amenity, enhance spatial flow and elevate the quality of living within Melbourne’s premium residential market.

Working in collaboration with the project architect, Aperture was engaged to lead the interior spatial planning, interior design development and construction documentation for the internal reconfiguration and extension interface.

The existing home was reconfigured to create a generous open plan kitchen, dining and living environment, strengthening circulation and improving connection to the new rear extension. Material selections prioritised durability and longevity, appropriate for a high-quality rental property, while maintaining a refined and cohesive interior expression.

Aperture documented the interior scope through to construction and worked closely with the builder and consultant team to ensure design intent was realised on site.
