Two houses for two families

For this project, Astute Architectural Drafting was tasked with designing neighbouring homes for clients who were also close friends. Although the project comprised two separate dwellings, Astute Architectural Drafting and DirectBuild Australia approached the design as if it were for one single property to achieve synergy between the two buildings.

Framed by a pair of historically significant Canary Island date palms, the contemporary homes complement each other while maintaining individuality. Carefully tailored to the needs of each family, both light-filled homes include a minimum of four generously sized bedrooms and contain multiple living areas. Complete with spacious layouts and stunning views of the surrounding landscape, both homes will be enjoyed by the two families for generations to come.
