West End
After designing significant additions and alterations 5 years previously, Kirsten was engaged again to design the new family bathroom.
Comprising the demolition of an ensuite and walk in robe to create more space, the existing footprint was further enhanced with the addition of highlight corner glazing for treetop views, natural daylighting and ventilation.
The continuous hob, glass splashback and dark tiles to the floor plane visually lengthen the room; a single blade of glass separates the wet zone with minimal visual obstruction in the space. The clean lines of the design are perfectly teamed with the modern bathroom fixtures, whilst the feature colourback glass injects personality and delight into this innovative bathroom design.
The environmental design response includes the use of a remote mixer tap with dial up temperature settings for the shower to minimise water wastage, continous LED strip lighting for low-energy lighting, the dual flush in-wall toilet cistern, low flow mixer to the hand basin and bath.
