Our client’s asked us to build a top floor to give them more living and sleeping space for their children and parents who frequently visit from overseas. We designed the stairs to the second floor to be installed in what was the front bedroom, and they led to the second storey that housed three bedrooms, a bathroom with separate WC, and a lounge area. The idea was to design a retreat for their three teenage boys, resulting in ample space downstairs and more storage.
