The brief for this 1890s transitional house included a comprehensive structural rebuild of the front gable and the selection of a new paint scheme. The dining area received a refreshed paint scheme, while the primary bathroom underwent a complete renovation. The hallway was upgraded to an art gallery with new paint and gallery lighting. A dark, period-style bathroom was transformed into a light and intimate contemporary ensuite. The pool precinct was upgraded with new bluestone coping tiles, a glass pool fence, and a contemporary slatted privacy screen. In the family room, new steel doors were installed, complemented by smooth stucco render and new paint colors. The rear family room was brightened up with new north-facing contemporary steel doors, offering a view of the terrace and swimming pool.
