A 2 storey rear extension to a heritage weatherboard home for a young family with two children. The house was orientated to gain northern and western sun. The house was delineated with children's bedrooms, living, and bathroom upstairs. A teal blue colour was used in joinery tiles and paint throughout the house. A light grey paint was used along the ground floor hallway, stair wall and upstairs living wall to link both ground and first floors. A small north face balcony was added to extend the first floor living as well as to provide rain and sun cover to the ground floor north face living wall. The ground floor home office links visually with glass doors and a window to the ground floor living spaces.
