Anembo House

Privacy and a space for everyone

On an oddly shaped block with a large private northern outlook we designed one of our first modular family homes. This house is organised to meet all of its client’s needs. A large garage opens in to a‘mud-room’ style laundry which seamlessly connects to the ‘all integrated’ kitchen. The ‘parents’ end of the home has ample storage and privacy, and is configured in a way that a guest could use the ensuite without trekking through the bedroom. At the other end of the house, rooms for kids, play, and guests have easy access to the backyard and main bathroom. Central living and dining rooms bring everyone together and open on to a large northern deck with retractable shade/rain cover.

This home allows each member of the family to have a private northern outlook from a quiet space, as well as bringing in generous northern light and garden views to a protected outdoor living space. This versatile, timeless home demonstrates the ability of our modular design process to respond to a unique site and modern family.
