The Bay House Project comprises of an entire mid-level redesign and renovation including kitchen, laundry and bathroom designs all of which incorporate a carefully curated colour palette inspired by the coastal environment.
In the kitchen, terracotta-coloured cabinetry sets a warm, inviting tone, complemented by brushed copper taps, handles, and feature pendant. These elements add warmth and a sophisticated touch, ensuring the kitchen is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Navy Blue hand fired subway tiles used as splash back tiles tile back to the navy flecks in the terrazzo and a nod to the nearby ocean.
In the bathroom, we continued the cohesive design with stone-look wall tiles in a soft grey, creating a serene backdrop. The timber dresser, repurposed as a vanity, introduces natural wood tones, adding warmth and texture to the space. The terrazzo feature wall mirrors the kitchen's design, ensuring continuity between the rooms.
The colour scheme not only enhances the visual appeal but also creates a tranquil, cohesive environment that reflects the natural beauty of the home's location. This thoughtful use of colour throughout the Bay House project showcases how a well-chosen palette can transform spaces, creating harmony and visual interest.
