My clients downsized to this mezzanine loft apartment on the edge of the Roma Street Gardens. They wanted to start again with furnishings and the brief was to provide a contemporary feel with quality furniture. We utilised their extensive artwork collection as a start, and employed a neutral but tonal (lights, mids and dark shades of greys) scheme as a foil to showcase their artworks. Quirky pieces, such as the Mooi Random Lights added an element of fun. I always believe it's important to keep interiors looking youthful and optimistic as this reflects on its occupants state of mind and outlook on life.
