This newly built home is located on the beach front at the Gold Coast. My clients wanted me to furnish it in a clean and contemporary style. Given the emphasis on harder finishes such as concrete, it was important to incorporate softness into the scheme to make it feel warm, comfortable and inviting. I custom designed major items such as the American oak dining table and marble coffee table, and introduced pieces from suppliers such as Space Furniture, Stylecraft and Jardan. I added soft furnishings which added colour and texture, such as scatter cushions from Jardan, and a custom rug from Designer Rugs. Finally, we utilised the clients' extensive artwork collection as focal points around the home.
