Cabarita Kitchen
The Cabarita Project transformed a clunky early-2000s waterfront terrace into a vibrant entertaining space full of personality. Designer Daniel Mazic reworked the terrace’s layout to introduce a dedicated scullery and create a more purposeful connection between the kitchen, laundry and living areas. New structure was added where needed, while carefully working within the constraints of the existing building. The kitchen combines vivid green joinery, leathered Calacatta Davinci Quartzite, warm timber detailing, and terrazzo flooring. A long island anchors the room, with black steel fluted-glass doors concealing the scullery and laundry beyond.
