The owners of this Edgecliff terrace home had recently moved into the property following an extensive architectural renovation. While much of the house reflected the quality and vision they desired, the kitchen did not meet their expectations—neither in functionality nor in craftsmanship. Wanting a space that better suited their lifestyle and aligned with the home’s striking design, they approached Dan Kitchens on the recommendation of friends and former clients.

Working within the existing kitchen footprint, the Dan Kitchens team reconfigured the layout for greater efficiency and flow. The design took cues from the home’s architectural language: large rounded voids, minimalist forms, vertical steel cladding, and a neutral palette of concrete greys and crisp whites. These influences informed a series of custom details, handcrafted in the Dan Kitchens workshop—including fluted panelling, curved island ends, and a bespoke rangehood box.

The centrepiece, a long sculptural island clad in Super White Dolomite, anchors the space with quiet luxury. Gaggenau appliances complete the picture of refined functionality. Installed entirely by Dan Kitchens’ in-house team, the result is a seamless integration between kitchen and home - modern, restrained, and enduring.
