The creation of a private sanctuary that represented a Mediterranean getaway indicative of the clients' many a European vacation was at the heart of the design brief for this semi-detached Victorian home. The combination of natural materials in stone, travertine tiles and hardwood brought together and detailed with matte black tapware effortlessly carry you away to distant shores.

The kitchen would become an epicentre for the family of three and clever use of space and storage was a challenge as the kitchen area size was limited. The pairing of black textural melamine, porcelain benchtops with a touch of copper, bespoke natural timber wall cabinetry and the handmade wall tiles has given the space a new lease on life, with the home now truly representing the clients love of natural finishes and clever design.
