This Miner's Cottage Re-design is situated in West Mackay. A Quaint Little Old House that has been transformed into a spacious family home and remains graced with it’s original tongue and groove internal walls, 2785mm high ceilings, external weatherboards, and gable ends. The designers have blended the old Queensland charm into the new extension by adding chair rails and tongue and groove as a feature. The home has now evolved into a functional open plan living space boasting new kitchen, living and dining areas which open out onto a large timber deck. The renovation is in keeping with the original street appeal and doesn’t appear as an extension.
