This unit development gives the appearance of individual homes on their own allotments. A modern cottage style was adopted with timber balconies to the front and dutch gable features to the roof. Flood level constraints were used to advantage with a high clearance carports which double as covered outdoor areas. The blockwork subfloor walls extend up for the front columns and on the southern sides to give a subtle modern influence. Screening and high windows provide additional privacy to the occupants. The end result has been a positive addition to the streetscape; the units while maintaining a heritage look have a fresh and modern feel about them.
