Heritage home kitchen

Beautiful black and cream kitchen in Subiaco, WA - features such as stained glass windows, open shelves and arched pelmets help keep the kitchen true to the age and style of this home.

Benches: QStone Infinite Black with 40mm edges.
Shaker Federation recessed doors in satin lacquer to match Solver Alabaster Cream.
Castella Century Old America knobs and handles.

Appliances: Liebherr integrated fridge, Miele integrated dishwasher, under-mount Asko rangehood, Asko microwave, Ilve oven and Ilve gas cooktop.

Floors and lighting by owner.

Space at the island for stools makes for a lovely breakfast area whilst still being large enough for the cook to prep on the other side.

The designer needed to create an office/desk area in keeping with the style of the rest of the kitchen whilst keeping the beautiful stained glass window as a feature. Note the painted pressed metal cladding to the wall surrounding the window.

Beautiful stained glass oval window. Pressed metal sprayed in lacquer to match the cabinets clads the wall around the window.

The fluted column to the left of the semi-integrated Miele dishwasher is actually a slimline cabinet - although slim, it can store trays vertically. It is opened using a press mechanism to do away with the need for a knob.
