Perfectly neat, blue and white Hamptons kitchen with nautical knobs

The whites and blues, and lots of little touches (including nautical compass knobs), create this lovely beach style kitchen which overlooks Cottesloe beach.

You can clearly see the edges here - 40mm pencil round. Notice how the stone benchtop returns underneath.

The structural columns needed to stay. Having the ends as open shelves allowed for more light to filter through and increased glimpses of the ocean.

The 'before' U-shape kitchen was removed to make way for a galley design creating better flow and easier access to the balcony.

The angled concrete at ceiling height needed to stay - we concealed it in the new design behind cabinets (see fridge and microwave 'after' pics).

The walls to the left were removed to open up the space as much as possible. The raised capping on the bench created a barrier which was done away with in the new design.
