JAMIE DURIE DESIGN

J7C | INTERIORS

The Veo multi-residential apartment building located in Melawati, Kuala Lumpur was designed with the same two key concepts in mind, ‘luxury’ and ‘sanctuary’.
The apartments were designed to make use of the balcony as an extension of the interiors to create a seamless indoor-outdoor space. This was achieved with the use of porcelain tiles both inside and out and textiles that have both an outdoor application and an indoor look and feel so they could be used across most furniture items. The interior design took full advantage of the space by creating conversation zones with furniture and integrated units. Feature wall panels covered in textaline with a colour on either side were designed so that the purchaser could flip the panels and change the look of their apartment with ease.
