Set in a forbidding and spectacular landscape in central Victoria, this house has been built from Core Ten Steel, ICF blocks and SIPS panels to provide a high level of thermal insulation. The owner/builder approached Robert Harwood Architects in 2013 and after the design and documentation phase the works commenced construction in 2015. The project has been completed in early 2019 with beautiful interiors by Jessica Bettany of Resident Avenue and landscape works by Phillip Johnson Landscapes. This is truely a Grand Design, as the works have been filmed along the way by the Australian Grand Design film crew and will feature as Episode 1 of the 2019 series.
