We were asked to design a home for a building family for there own use, but to also showcase their workmanship. The house is over 3 levels on and incorporates multiple living areas. With expansive rooms and, areas of glass the challenge is often to proportion the spaces well and for benches, fireplace walls, staircases and skylights to be balanced. Fine detailing and well chosen finishes achieve a calm elegance but also domestic warmth.
