The client fell in love with this 1962 beach house because it reminded him of a similar beach house on Phillip Island his grandfather built, where he still spends family holidays.
The ground floor is entirely retained and the first floor is a seamless extension of the simple vernacular style.
The main living areas, parent’s room and guest room are upstairs taking advantage of the views while the ground floor has become a kid’s rumpus room and bedrooms. All rooms take advantage of either ocean views or the established garden.
